Today we had our 500th post! The post is looking for someone to make the Warbear Harness & Warbear Woolies on the US Silvermoon server.

We’d like to thank everyone that’s helped make the site a reality — everyone that’s made a post, and everyone that’s replied to one. If there’s anything that we can do to make the site more useful, please feel free to comment below or email us.

One of our readers, Faulk, suggested putting the number of posts in each category next to the category name.  We’ve done just that! The number of posts updates in real time.  This should help everyone see which categories are active and might have something interesting in them.

We also have a new statistics page that lists the total number of posts on the entire site, graphs the posts over time, and also lists the most popular servers.  Right now we have 339 active posts.  We have 25 posts on Drenden, our most popular server, followed by 16 posts on Earthen Ring, our second most popular server.  Thanks to everyone that has posted and is helping to make the site useful for everyone!

We’re happy to announce that we’re launching warcraftlist! The site seems ready for general use and we hope that you’ll find it helpful. We love feedback, so please email us or leave a comment below with any thoughts — ideas for improvement, suggestions, compliments or concerns.

Our goal with warcraftlist.com is to provide a place for World of Warcraft players to find each other and fulfill each other’s needs.  The site is a virtual-world version of the classifieds sections of real-world newspapers and real-world sites such as craigslist.org.  Sometimes reposting your lastest Epic BOE drop on the auction house until it sells isn’t the best idea — all those auction house deposits add up.   Although the official Warcraft forums provide a great place to troll meet other players, posts looking for specific items tend to get lost in all the noise.  WarcraftList will provide a structured way to help you find what you need and let you tell everyone else about what you have to offer.
